Thiruvananthapuram: Radhakrishnan (53), Grade SI of Vilappilsala police station who allegedly attempted suicide due to workload and mental harassment by senior died while in treatment in Government Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram.
He was found hanging in Vilappilsala police station on October 1. The relatives alleged that Radhakrishnan attempted suicide due to extra workload and mental harassment by the Station House Officer.
Radhakrishnan is a native of Ambalathilkala. It was reported that his fellow police officers took him immediately to the hospital after he hanged himself.
