Forensic exam conducted in Koodathil case

A forensic exam was conducted in the seven members' death case of the Koodathil family that happened in Thiruvananthapuram. A case of illegal transfer of property was registered by the Kerala Police against 12 people including former collector, Mohandas.

Thiruvananthapuram: A forensic investigation was carried out in the mysterious seven members' death case of the Koodathil family that happened at the state capital. The examination was conducted by Dr Sasikala, Forensic department chief at the Medical College Hospital Thiruvananthapuram along with the Crime Branch Investigation team led by ACP Santhosh.

At the time of inspection Leela, the servant of Koodathil house was also brought to the spot. It was indicated in the autopsy report and also in the chemical analysis of internal organs that Jayamadhavan died due to head injury.

Crime DCP Muhammad Arif assured that everyone involved in the case of the mysterious deaths would be questioned in detail and the evidence is safe though it is a long-ago case.

A case of illegal transfer of property was registered by the Kerala Police against 12 people including former collector, Mohandas and seven people from the family who died over the period of 26 years.
