Kannur: Film actor Unnikrishnan Namboothiri has passed away. He was 98 years old.
He was undergoing treatment for Covid-19 in a private hospital in Kannur for over a week. He had tested Covid negative on Sunday.
Unnikrishnan Namboothiri is also the father-in-law of famous lyricist Kaithapram Damodaran Namboothiri.
He had acted in over 25 films, including Malayalam and Tamil.
His famous movies include Deshadanam, Kalyanaraman, Chandramukhi and Pammal K Sambandham.
