Kochi (Kerala): The mastermind of a drug trafficking gang, majorly active in Kerala, was arrested in Aluva on Saturday.
Zakir, a resident of Erattupettu, was arrested by the Aluva range excise shadow team led by Inspector TK Gopi.
He was leading the drug racket and used to supply drugs across the state.
The team recovered two kgs of hash oil, 95 units for alcohol drugs and 35 units nitrogen drugs. The price of the drugs in the international market was estimated to be over ₹2 crores.
Hash oil is being brought to Kerala through agents from Kulu-Manali in Himachal Pradesh.
