Kollam: As Union Budget 2019 pushed for electric vehicles, electric charging stations are being set up in Kerala.
KSEB's first electric charging station of Kollam district in Kerala is all set and awaiting an official nod to commence operations.
The electric charging station has been set up in order to encourage people to use more electric vehicles on the road, thereby reducing pollution.
The station in Kollam has been set up in KSEB Olayil Section office near High School Junction in Kollam. Two vehicles can recharge its batteries at the same time in the station with 80 KiloWatts capacity.
