Anjuradh, an engineering student is gifting caricatures as a token of appreciation to those who are contributing in Kerala Chief Minister’s Distress Relief Fund (CMDRF) and her efforts are turning out to be instrumental in raising funds for the state.

Pathanamthitta: Everyone around the globe is getting creative in raising funds for COVID-19 relief and a 21-year-old girl's efforts are turning out to be beneficial for Kerala which is receiving donations from the state and beyond.

Anjuradh, an engineering student is gifting caricatures as a token of appreciation to those who are contributing in Kerala Chief Minister’s Distress Relief Fund (CMDRF) and her efforts are turning out to be instrumental in raising funds for the state.

"Students like us have no income to contribute.This is another way of making others donate towards the CMDRF, which is very much needed now to tide us over the crises," said Anjuradh who is putting her creativity to good use to join the fight against the deadly virus.

Born in Kerala to Malayali parents, Anjuradh started focusing on drawing after joining college and decided to use the art, in this time of distress, to make more people contribute in the cause.

"The CMDRF donors can send the receipt of their donation along with their picture . I will do a personal caricature based on the photo and send it as a gift," said the girl whose ‘innovative campaign’ for raising CMDRF is drawing applauds from all quarters.

Her work has grabbed attention of the netizens and people from all walks of life have started making contributions.
