Palakkad: The shooting of the film 'Neeyam Nadhi' was disrupted and equipment were destroyed allegedly by five BJP members at Vayilyamkunnu temple in Kadampazhipuram.
The arrested were Sreejith, Subramanian, Babu, Sachidanandan and Sabarish.

As per the complaint lodged by scriptwriter Salman Faris, BJP members interrupted the shooting while they were filming Hindu-Muslim romance saying that no permission was granted for the shooting and called the moviemakers 'terrorists'. They were irked over the display of Muslim League flags in front of the temple yard, as per the complaint.

As per Faris, temple authorities had granted them permission for the shooting. The accused have been charged with aggravated assault, attack, and destruction of property.
