Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala): While carrying a corpse from Thiruvananthapuram to Valakom, an ambulance unexpectedly caught fire on Wednesday.
The incident took place near Venjaramoodu police station on the way to Kollam which generated a panic situation among the public.

The driver and the other members who were there in the ambulance immediately escaped from the vehicle.
No casualty has been reported in the incident.

Being informed, the fire tenders rushed to the spot to douse the fire.
Fire brigade officials suspected that short circuit might be the cause of the fire.
