Kasaragod: Cinasha, an eight standard student of Kasaragod Government Higher Secondary School, has already completed 12 novels and continues her creative endeavour. Inspired by the Russian children stories that her mother used to read for her, this little litterateur embarked on a journey into the world of letters.
Starting with journaling in her personal diary when she was in her first grade, Cinasha has grown and matured into a complete novelist while she is in her 8th grade. The studies and activities at her state-run school have moulded the young writer.
Her works Oru Thalirilayum Oru Thulli Nilavum', Poovaniyunna Ilacharthukal, Kadalinde Rahsyam, A Girl and the Tigers, Mysterious Forest and Song of the River have already got printed. Uninhibited by English language, she has also completed her debut in English also.
Her novels Mysterious forest and Song of the river were published when she was in her 6th standard. Sinasha’s father, A Sreekumar, teacher by profession, thinks that her talent was unearthed from the excellent learning experience from the Government school.
Her dreams are full of fascinating stories and characters. Sinasha’s writing is also special that she creates a clean handwritten copy without crosses and corrections therein.
Cinasha, who is also passionate about drawing, besides writing, has also visualised and readied the covers for her novels herself. She continues to journal about the trips and tours she made and the movies she watched in her diary. Her vigorous reading and passion for movies have also influenced her writings.
Malayalam novels Pacha Niramullaval, Kadum Kanavum and English novels Terminalia Paniculata, Red and Pink and The twenty-fifth Step, are all set for printing. Cinasha is currently working on three novels, one in Malayalam and two in English.
