57 fresh cases in Kerala, COVID-19 tally touches 1326

The total number of COVID-19 cases in Kerela mounted to 1,326 after 57 persons including 27-abroad returnees and 28 came from other states have been tested positive.

Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala): The state on Monday reported 57 fresh positive cases, 55 of whom had come from abroad and other states, taking the infection tally to 1,326 in the state while over 1.39 lakh people are under observation.

Eighteen people have recovered from the infection.

While Kasaragod and Malappuram reported 14 cases each, Thrissur reported nine, Kollam five, Pathanamthitta four, Thiruvananthapuram and Ernakulam three each, Alappuzha and Palakkad two each and Idukki one, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan told reporters giving details of the break-up of the cases in various districts.
