Bengaluru: BS Yediyurappa, who recently stepped down from the post of Karnataka chief minister, is gearing up to retain his image in public as he aims to enhance his charisma in state politics. The 79-year-old always wanted to remain surrounded by the public to deal with their issues as a mass leader. Not just confined to the Lingayat community, he is also working to build confidence among people until the next election.
To achieve his goal he is preparing to hold a statewide tour to take stock of the party affairs and also address the grievances of the people at the grassroots level. He organises visits to different taluks each week to remain intact with the public and prove his political capability.

Earlier, he has also refused the post of the state Governor as he plans to make a comeback as the Chief Minister in the forthcoming Assembly and Lok Sabha elections. with his strong grip in the Karnataka unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the former chief minister has earlier announced that his tour will commence after Ganesh Chaturthi.
