Mysuru: In a shocking incident, a woman was sexually assaulted by four men on the outskirts of Mysuru in the Lingabudi Palya area at around 10:30 PM in the night where she had gone along with her friend on a motorbike ride when the four men came in a car and dragged and sexually assaulted her.
When her friend tried to resist, they beat him up severely and then broke his leg. The two of them reportedly became friends on facebook. It is yet to be ascertained whether they are lovers or married.
Soon after the incident, Mysuru police formed 8 teams to catch the accused. "The investigations are on & the boy who is undergoing treatment will be discharged soon.", Superintendent of the police, Amit Singh said.
