Shivamogga: A woman drowned in the Tunga river on Wednesday after accidentally falling into it.

Locals tried to save her with the help of a rope but their attempts at rescuing her failed.

Later a video of the incident went viral.

ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ: ಮಹಿಳೆರೊಬ್ಬರು ತುಂಗಾ ನದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಚ್ಚಿ ಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದ ಘಟನೆ ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದಿದೆ. ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗದ ರಾಮಣ್ಣ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠಿ ಪಾರ್ಕ್ ಬಳಿ ಮಹಿಳೆಯನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಯತ್ನ ನಡೆಸಿದರು ಸಹ ಅದು ಫಲ ನೀಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.Body: ಮಹಿಳೆ ನದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತೇಲಿ ಕೊಂಡು ಬರುತ್ತಿದ್ದಂತೆಯೇ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಯುವಕರು ನದಿಗೆ ಹಾರಿ ಮಹಿಳೆಯನ್ನು ಬಚಾವ್ ಮಾಡಲು ಯತ್ನ ಮಾಡಿದರು ಸಹ ನದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ‌ನೀರಿನ ಹರಿಯುವಿಕೆ ಜೋರಾಗಿದ್ದ ಕಾರಣ ಮಹಿಳೆಯನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗದೆ ವಾಪಸ್ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನಂತ್ರ ಮಂಟಪದ ಬಳಿ ಬಂದು ಹಗ್ಗ ನೀಡಿದರು ಸಹ ಪ್ರಯೋಜನವಾಗಿಲ್ಲ. Conclusion:ನಂತ್ರ ಮಂಟಪದ ಬಳಿ ಬಂದು ಹಗ್ಗ ನೀಡಿದರು ಸಹ ಪ್ರಯೋಜನವಾಗಿಲ್ಲ.
ಇಷ್ಟೆಲ್ಲಾ ಆದರೂ‌ ಸಹ ಮಹಿಳೆ ತನ್ನ ಕೈ ಕಾಲನ್ನು ಬಡಿಯುತ್ತಾ ನೀರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ತೇಲಿ ಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ದಡದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಜನ ಮೂಕ ಪ್ರಕ್ಷೇಕರಾಗಿ ನೋಡುತ್ತಾ ನಿಂತಿದ್ದರು. ನದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತೇಲಿ ಹೋದ ಮಹಿಳೆಯ ಹೆಸರು ಆಕೆಯ ವಿಳಾಸ ಮಾತ್ರ ತಿಳಿದು ಬಂದಿಲ್ಲ.ಮಹಿಳೆಗಾಗಿ ಹುಟುಕಾಟ ನಡೆಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.
