Hangal (Haveri): A 48-year-old woman was raped and murdered by a 26-year-old young man in Hangal taluk of Haveri district, reports said.
The woman was a native of Channagiri taluk of Davanagere district. On November 1, the accused Yallappa had taken the woman to a forest area on his bike where he committed the heinous crime.
Adoora station police in Hangal had registered a case and arrested the accused.
