Bagalkote (Karnataka): After the uproar over the newly appointed ministers in the Karnataka cabinet, BJP lawmaker Basanagouda Patil Yatnal has threatened to release a mysterious CD, allegedly involving CM BS Yediyurappa and Congress leader DK Shivakumar.
"I am not against the BJP, or against the central government. I am speaking about family politics of CM BS Yediyurappa and his corruption," said MLA Yatnal.
Speaking at Kudalasangama he said, "Chief Minister Yediyurappa's family has made a CD and are blackmailing him. Thus the whole family is in politics and power. KPCC President DK Shivakumar has this CD. If DK Shivakumar is actually an opponent to CM BSY, he must release the CD. If not it will be claimed that DK Shivakumar, Siddharamayya and Jameer Ahmed are with BSY and his son Vijayendra."
I do value-based politics. I do not do any filthy work. If I was holding the CD, I would have got the power of Deputy CM, he added.

Addressing the CD allegations made by BJP legislator Basanagouda Patil Yatnal, KPCC President DK Shivakumar demanded that a sitting High Court judge investigate the matter.
DKS was speaking at a press meet at the KPCC office. Reacting to Yediyurappa’s remarks at the Jana Sevak Samavesha yesterday, Shivakumar said those accusing Congress are not aware of the history of their own party. "Their dream of making a Congress Mukht state will never be a reality. Congress Mukth state will not be possible in his lifetime," he said.
