Bengaluru: Karnataka Home Minister Araga Jnanendra has said that the state government will be bringing forth a bill to regulate religious conversions.
Speaking to the media in Vidhansoudha, the minister said, "We will bring the bill to regulate religious conversion." He said that the government will not tolerate conversion. He said all religions should live in peace.
"Religious conversion could ruin peace and order," he claimed. The Home Minister said that he will work to maintain peace in the state.
"Our cyber division is smarter and strong. We will do what we can to prevent religious conversions," the minister said in his address to the media personnel.
