Vijayapura (Karnataka): Three people were killed in an accident involving two motorcycles near Dindavar village in Basavanabagewadi Taluk on Saturday.
The motorcyclists were on their way to the Anjanadri hill in Koppal district. One of the deceased was identified as Kumara Balakundi (22) from Afajalapur in Kalaburagi district.
According to sources, the bikes collided head-on and the collision was so massive that three riders suffered massive head injuries. They died on the spot and the bikes caught fire in the crash.
Bagewadi police visited the site and registered a case at Basavanabagewadi police station.
