Karnataka Siblings donate scholarship money for corona fight

Two siblings from Saundatti town of Belagavi district of Karnataka donated their scholarship money worth Rs 10,000 to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund for COVID-19 efforts. In addition to this, the duo requested everyone to stay home and not to come outside until it is necessary.

Belagavi (Karnataka): In a noble gesture, two siblings from Saundatti town of Belagavi district of Karnataka donated their scholarship money to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund for COVID-19 efforts.

Fifteen-year-old, Lakshmi Gaji and her nine-year-old sister Saraswathin Gaji, donated their scholarship money worth Rs 10,000 to the CM's relief fund.

The duo also regarded police and doctors as great warriors in the fight against COVID-19.

"Seeing the paralysed condition of the nation that has arisen due to coronavirus outbreak, we decided to donate the scholarship amount. Through this we can help in some or the other way in the fight against the deadly disease," the duo said.

In addition to this, the duo requested everyone to stay home and not to come outside until it is necessary.
