Additional Solicitor General tills paddy field to beat lockdown blues

KM Nataraj, Additional Solicitor General of the Supreme Court of India is currently engaged in farming in his farm during the ongoing Covid-19 lockdown. Despite occupying such a high post, Nataraj's tryst with farming is an eye-opener for youngsters who turn their backs on agriculture. "Agriculture is in my blood. I encourage youngsters to take up farming," he said.

Puttur (Dakshina Kannada): KM Nataraj, Additional Solicitor General of the Supreme Court of India is currently engaged in farming in his farm during the ongoing Covid-19 lockdown. Despite occupying such a high post, he is working as a farmer and is a role model for youngsters who have abandoned agriculture and are moving towards urban life.

A resident of Eshwaramangalam in Puttur, Dakshina Kannada district. KM Nataraj hails from an agrarian family. His entire family relies on farming and his love for farming is still there. Nataraj's family members have been doing paddy farming at home for a long time. Due to the Covid-19 lockdown, he is also involved in farming-related activities.

His family members recorded a video, which is now getting appreciated by a lot of people. "Agriculture is in my blood. Young people need to take up agriculture," he said.
