Karnataka: Bengaluru police on Thursday killed the notorious rowdy 'Slum' Bharath in an encounter, who was arrested in Uttar Pradesh two days ago.
According to police, he was shot two bullets when he opened fire on policemen with an illegal weapon.
Bharath was arrested and was being brought to Bengaluru when he tried to escape in a car. The police received the information that Bharath's car was moving towards Hesaragatta near Soladevanahalli.
The police who chased him had fired at Bharath near Soladevanahalli. Bharath, who suffered serious injuries, breathed his last without responding to treatment.
Slum Bharath was a history-sheeter and wanted in a number of criminal cases. He was also involved in plotting the murder of KGF star Yash last year.
