Gangavathi: Seven people died in Karnataka in two separate accidents - four were killed in a hit-and-run incident in Bagalkot district and three more died in a collision between a truck and an autorickshaw in Koppal district.

The victims in the accident in Hungund in Bagalkot were named as Chandru Butta, Naveen Saaka, Karibasayya and the fourth person was not identified, police said.
The driver of the vehicle is said to be in critical condition in hospital.

The three people killed in Koppal district were identified as Phkirappa Nagappa Holeyache, Bhimanna Chinnappa Hyati And Ramanna Shankrappa Dolli, police said.
