ID mandatory to visit Karnataka's Sanjeevini Park

Authorities at Sanjeevani park in Hubli have said it is mandatory for visitors to identify themselves to discourage misuse of the medicinal plant park. The park, a hit with youngsters, features a 10-acre garden.

Dharwad: Aadhar card has been made mandatory to enter Sanjeevani Park as locals have raised concern over increased visits made by lovers. The action has been taken as a disciplinary measure, urging couples to maintain decorum. Locals were irked by the behaviour of visiting couples.

Aadhar card, college identity card or any other identity card must be produced at the entry to get ticket. The park located on the outskirts of the city expands to 72 acre and lovers visit the place very often.

It is the favourite spot for college students to hang out, which features a 10-acre garden. The park is equipped with basic amenities including seating, drinking water, walking path and watchtowers. The park was built to raise awareness of medicinal plants and environment conservation.
