Bengaluru: After a Bengaluru court passed an injunction restraining the media from publishing, promoting and circulating false news against DV Sadananda Gowda, the Union Minister took to Twitter to disclose the reason behind his move. Clarifying his stand, Gowda, in a tweet, said that he respects the freedom of media but was forced to move for legal restrictions so that media does not fall prey to his opponents who tried to tarnish his image during elections and cabinet formation.
On Friday, the 14th Additional City Civil Court Judge passed an injunction order after the minister filed a plea expressing concern over his possible loss of reputation.
