Bengaluru (Karnataka): Ramakrishna Mutt Seer Swami Harshanand Maharaj died of a cardiac arrest on Tuesday.
The funeral will take place on Wednesday afternoon.
Swami Harshananda Maharaj was one of the most senior seers of the Ramakrishna Mutt and also the president of the Ramakrishna Mutt since 1989.
Swami Harshanand Maharaj had worked in Mangalore, Mysore, Belur, and Allahabad Ramakrishna mutt including Bengaluru.
Swami has written many books in Kannada, English, and Sanskrit. Among these, some of his works have also been translated into French, Korean and Indonesian.
