Belgavi: Frontline healthcare workers lead the fight against COVID-19 pandemic staying away from their family and loved ones. This video of a quarantined nurse meeting her three-year-old daughter from a distance will melt your heart.

In the viral video clip, Sugandha, a staff nurse at one of the COVID-19 designated district hospitals in Belgavi, Karnataka meets her daughter after 11 days. She is under quarantine for 14 days and her husband decided to bring their daughter Aishwarya to the hospital so that she could meet her mother for a few minutes.

The scenes which follow will melt hearts as Aishwarya began to cry and plead her mother to come home with her.

After the clip went viral, Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa held a telephonic conversation with the nurse and said, "You are working hard without even seeing your own daughter. May god bless you."
