Video viral: Piles of condoms surface on National Highway 48

Commuters on the National Highway 48 on the outskirts of Tumkur were in for a shock as they found hundreds of condoms -- some used and others unused -- on the road.

Tumakuru (Karnataka): Commuters on the National Highway 48 on the outskirts of Tumkur were in for a shock as they found hundreds of condoms -- some used and others unused -- on the road.

The condoms were spread on a stretch of the flyover in front of the Sriraj Theatre near Kyathasandra-Batwadi area. The police are yet to ascertain whether these were intentionally thrown or accidentally fell from a trash vehicle.

Videos of these condoms splashed throughout a stretch of the flyover have gone viral on social media. An investigation has been launched into the incident.
