Mysore MP met RFC CEO with Mysore film city plans

Siddaramaiah government had planned and also announced to build a film city near Nanjangudu on the outskirts of Mysore in 110 acres of land. But this plan could not succeed as the construction of the film city has been facing many hurdles. Mysore MP met Ramoji film city CEO with Mysore Film city plans and will visit Mysore on August 28th in this regard.

Mysore (Karnataka): Member of Parliament Pratap Simha met Ramoji Film City CEO Rajeev Jalnapurkar and has requested him to build a film city in Mysore.

Reportedly, the construction of the film city has been facing many hurdles till date.

Simha also invited Rajeev to visit Mysore and build a plan for the proposed film city in Mysore.

Rajeev has reportedly accepted the proposal and will visit Mysore on August 28th in this regard.

The then Siddaramaiah government had planned and also announced to build a film city near Nanjangudu on the outskirts of Mysore in 110 acres of land. For which, 500 acres of land was given to the Ministry of Tourism.

Later, the Kumaraswamy government decided to shift film city to Ramanagar.

Following which, the plan came to a halt.

Now, MP Pratap Simha decided to complete this work and has met the head of the Ramoji Film City.

The Ramoji Film City which is located in Hyderabad is the largest integrated film city in Telangana and has been certified by the Guinness World Records as the largest studio complex in the world.

It was built in 1996 by Telugu film producer, Cherukuri Ramoji Rao.

There are 250 locations around Mysore that are suitable for shooting in the 15-20 km range. People from all parts of the country come to Mysore for various shoots.

Many experts are also of the opinion that Mysore is the best place to build a film city.

Hyderabad/Mysore: MP Pratap Simha met the Ramoji group chief in charge Rajiv, requested him to build film city in Mysore. Which has stopped by many obstacles till today.



Simha invites Rajiv to visit to Mysore and make plan for building  a film city in Mysore. The proposal of Simha has accepted by Rajiv and he is coming to Mysore on this August 28th.



Siddaramaiah govt was planned and announced to build a film city near Nanjangudu on the outskirts of Mysore in 110 acres of land in it's budget. Thus 500 acres of land has given to Ministry of Tourism. Later Kumaraswamy govt decided to shift film city to Ramanagar. Between these confusions, planning of build film city has stopped.  Now MP Pratap Simha decided to complete this work, thus he met head of the RFC.



There are 250 locations around Mysore that are suitable for shooting in the 15-20 km range. Many people from all parts of the country come to Mysore to shoot . So many experts feel that Mysore is best place to build film city.
