Mangaluru returns to normalcy as curfew relaxed

Normalcy returned in Karnataka's Mangaluru city after curfew, that was in effect for the past three days, was lifted. However, Section 144 of the CrPC, that prohibits an assembly of more than four people in an area, continues to remain in force.

Mangaluru (Karnataka): Life in Karnataka's Mangaluru city has started to get back to normalcy after internet services resumed and the curfew, that was in effect for the past three days, was lifted on Sunday morning.

Government offices, educational institutions, banks and markets opened after remaining closed for the last three days.

Curfew has been relaxed by the district administration. However, Section 144 of the CrPC, that prohibits an assembly of more than four people in an area, continues to remain in force.

The protests against Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) in Mangaluru and the curfew imposed post the same had brought life to a standstill and affected the business adversely.

curfew cleared in Mangalore: Kudla came towards normal  



Mangalore(Karnataka): The curfew which was in the force from the Saturday in the city is cleared today and the 144 section will be continued to avoid the unpleasant events in the time of X-mas.



Since section 144 is in force, no one can hold an illegal gathering,  protest, and uproar. and  Also, no weapons, including sword, dagger, or rifle, cannot be carried anywhere. And also the processions, Strikes, Provoking speech were strictly prohibited.



Because of the curfews, The school colleges and the Government offices were closed from Friday to Sunday. From today onwards by the clearance of curfew educational Institutions and govt and other offices will provide the services as regular.
