Mangaluru: Pregnant doctor dies of COVID-19

A young Kerala doctor, who was working in Mangaluru, died of COVID-19 on Tuesday. She was six months pregnant.

Mangaluru (Karnataka): A young Kerala doctor, who was working in Mangaluru, died of COVID-19 on Tuesday. She was six months pregnant.

She was working at Indiana Hospital near Pumpwell and Kanachur Hospital in Deralakatte.

During her duty, she contracted COVID-19, sources said. She was admitted to Indiana Hospital for treatment. However, she died on Tuesday morning as she developed respiratory problems.

She got married eight months ago to a colleague from Indiana Hospital.
