Duo open fire at Mangalore hotel, four injured

A shootout ensued at Falneer hotel in Mangalore between angry customers and hotel staff. Four people were injured in the melee.

Mangalore (Karnataka): A duo, who came to the hotel in the city to feast on samosas, opened fire using a gun on Friday evening.

Two people arrived at Falneer Hotel in Mangalore to indulge in samosas. Soon, a tiff ensued between the customers and the hotel owner. The duo stepped out of the hotel and one of them fired a gun indiscriminately at the hotel. As a result, hotel staff rushed to control the irate customers who also shot at the staff.

The incident resulted in two hotel staff and two customers getting severely injured. The casualties were admitted to Government Wenlock District Hospital, Mangalore.
