Chikmagalur: Three children drowned in a lake in Anchinakatee village of Chikmagalur district, Karnataka on Monday after they went to a nearby lake with their bicycles preparing for 'Shastra Puja'.

While the police have been able to recover the bodies of Murali (15) and Jivit (14), search operations are on to locate Chirag (15).

A case has been registered under the Chikmagalur rural police station.

ಚಿಕ್ಕಮಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂವರು ಬಾಲಕರು ನೀರುಪಾಲು ಆಗಿರುವ ಘಟನೆ ನಡೆದಿದೆ. ಆಯುಧ ಪೂಜೆ ಸಂಭ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಈಜಲು ತೆರಳಿದ ಮೂವರು ಬಾಲಕರು ನೀರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಳಗಿ ಸಾವನಪ್ಪಿದು ಸೈಕಲ್‌ ಗಳನ್ನ ತೊಳೆದು, ಕೆರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಈಜಲು ಹೋದಾಗ ಈ ಘಟನೆ ನಡೆದಿದೆ. ಚಿಕ್ಕಮಗಳೂರು ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ಬಿಳೇಕಲ್ಲಳ್ಳಿ ಗ್ರಾಮದ ಕಂಚಿಕಟ್ಟೆ ಕೆರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಘಟನೆ ನಡೆದಿದ್ದು ಮೃತ ಬಾಲಕರು ಹೌಸಿಂಗ್ ಬೋರ್ಡ್ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳಗಿದ್ದು ನಿನ್ನೆ ಸಂಜೆ ಕೆರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಈಜಲು ಮೂರು ಜನ ಬಾಲಕರು ಹೋಗಿದ್ದರು. ಇಬ್ಬರ ಮೃತ ದೇಹ ಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದು ಇನ್ನೊಬ್ಬ ಮೃತ ದೇಹಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಹುಡುಕಾಟ ನಡೆಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಮುರುಳಿ‌ (15) ಜೀವಿತ್ (14) ಮೃತ ದೇಹ ಪತ್ತೆ ಯಾಗಿದ್ದು ಚಿರಾಗ್ (15) ಮೃತ ದೇಹಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಶೋಧ ಕಾರ್ಯ ನಡೆಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಹಾಗೂ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯರಿಂದ ಹುಡುಕಾಟ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದು ಚಿಕ್ಕಮಗಳೂರು ಗ್ರಾಮಾಂತರ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿ ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆ ನಡೆಸಿ ಠಾಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕರಣ ದಾಖಲು ಮಾಡಿ ಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ....
