Udupi (Karnataka): A BJP councillor allegedly assaulted and injured a health inspector in Udupi.
Victim Prasanna said BJP councillor from Vadabhandeshwara Yogish Salian had beaten him at Chief Minister's Officer (CMO) on Tuesday after an argument over some unresolved issue.
Later, Prasanna was rushed to a hospital for medical treatment. The officer sustained injuries on his right eye.
