KN: Man falls into 15-ft borewell pit, rescued

As the land around a borewell pit in Maravanthe village suddenly collapsed, a man who was standing nearby fell into it. He was rescued after hours of effort.

Karnataka: A man fell into a 15-feet deep borewell pit that was being dug in the Maravanthe village in the Udupi district here.

The incident took place as the land around the pit suddenly collapsed.

Identified as Rohit Kharvi, the man who fell into the pit was standing near it when the land around suddenly became loose and collapsed.

Kharvi was rescued after hours of efforts by rescue team and other officials.
