Shimoga: Vaidya Narayana Murthy, known as the medicine man, who cured cancer patients passed away on Wednesday at the age of 80 in Karnataka's Shimoga.
According to sources, he died of a heart attack and was under medication for various ailments, including cancer.
Murthy, a resident of Sagara Taluk's Narasipur, used to give herbal medicines to thousands of patients ailing from different diseases like heart, kidney, and different kinds of cancer.
He is widely credited with treating cancer patients declared incurable. Before cancer, he had grafted on various diseases, including kidney stones and dermatitis.
He had been practicing medicine for the past 30 years.
