Abhishek Navale, an 18-year-old boy from Karnataka successfully completed for fastest 100 M on inline skates and set Guinness world record. He said that he was financially supported and encouraged by actor Darshan.

Belagavi (Karnataka): An 18-year-old boy, hailing from Autonagar in Karnataka's Belagavi, has set Guinness world record by doing "inline-skating".

Abhishek Navale broke the Guinness world record of an Australian boy, David Sellsbury with the timing he had done was 13.24 seconds and he broke his record in 12.85 seconds. He has been trained from Roller Skating Academy in Belgavi and successfully completed fastest 100 M.

Abhishek is doing skating practice for the last 14 years and he has attended many Skating Competition like the 10th International speed skating competition in Portugal, 3 times world record academy holder, 2 Limca book of records, Government of Karnataka state award 2014 and nominated for the national award, Skating Rallies, skating events and he has done successfully.

Speaking to ETV Bharat, Abhishek said, "I am financially supported and encouraged by actor Darshan. Darshan's financial support led to my achievement. I will meet him as soon as possible."

"I was also selected for international skating in Portugal in 2012. But I had no inline skate because of poverty. That time, actor Darshan had come to Belgaum to shoot the film Sangolli Rayanna. Observing my financial problem, he helped me," he said.

"I bought an in-line skate with the help of Darshan and competed at an international skating in Portugal and won fourth place. Later my achievement was rewarded by a Portugal skating company with an amount of 500 Euro (Rs. 45,242.53 Indian currency). Thanks to Darshan for supporting me," he added.
