Anekal (Bengaluru): The Anekal police raided a private resort at Muthyala Madavu where a rave party was organised and arrested 37 youths for conducting it.
The police team also rescued two young women during the late-night raid on Saturday.
According to officials privy to the investigation of the case, the raid was carried out following a tip-off. The participants tried to escape the cops during the raid but failed.
The arrested include students of a private college in Bengaluru who allegedly consumed drugs at the rave party.
Sources said the resort is owned by JD(S) party leader Srinivas.
Further investigation is on, police said.
