Gadag (Karnataka): A 14-year-old girl was rescued by the help of locals after she was trapped in the debris of her house which collapsed due to landslide in Naragunda town of Karnataka's Gadag district on Tuesday.

The incessant rains have resulted in extreme flood-like conditions and landslides across the region.
Renuka sustained minor injuries during the incident and was rushed to a local hospital for treatment.
Earlier, an elderly man and an ox were also rescued by locals from a landslide as it was difficult for the rescue teams to reach the spot following disrupting traffic routes and transportation due to water-logging.
