Bengaluru (Karnataka): The woman in the purported sex video of former minister Ramesh Jarakiholi case has reportedly appeared before the magistrate's court in connection with the CD case.
A special court was set up at the Gurunanak Bhavan in Vasanthanagar in the wake of Covid. This is where the judge recorded the statement from the young woman. It is learned that only a female typist was present with the judge and the statement has been received under Section 164 of the CRPC.

The young woman will be detained by SIT after statement:
SIT inspectors have reached the court and will take the young woman into custody after the statement process. It is also possible that she will be taken to the Bowring Hospital for medical examination. After that, she will be taken to the place where the video was recorded.
Speaking earlier, Advocate Jagadish, a lawyer for the victim, said she had appeared before the Magistrate's Court half an hour before giving the statement.
