Illegal sale of Remdesivir injection: Three arrested in Karnataka

Three people were arrested by Karnataka police for the illegal sale of Remdesivir. The trio was selling the Remdisiver injections for Rs 25,000.

Kalaburgi: The police has arrested three people in connection with the illegal sale of Remdisiver injection.

There arrested were identified as Bhimashankar Arabola (27) of Yavaragi taluk, Lakshmikanta (20) of Ankalaga village in Afzalpur Taluk and Jilani khan (32), a resident of the Khamer Colony in Kalaburagi.

Bhimashankar was working in a Diagnostic Lab, Lakshmikanta at a Medical shop and Jilani khan worked as a staff nurse.

The trio was selling the Remdisiver injections illegally for Rs 25,000. They were bringing Remdisiver from Belagavi and Bengaluru.

Fourteen Remdisiver injections were seized and a case has been registered at the Brahmapur police station.
