Bengaluru: Authorities in Bengaluru have sealed houses in Covid hotspots. Buildings in BTM layout have been marked with red tapes and entire buildings are sealed even if one person living in them tests positive for Coivd-19, according to reports.

No one is allowed to step out of the house for 14 days, reports said.

Karnataka minister Basavaraj Bommai said on Tuesday that Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa would lay focus on creating micro-containment zones in the villages to curb the spread of the pandemic in the rural areas. His comments came during his interaction with a select group of panchayat officials, according to reports.
