Hassan (Karnataka): One person was killed and two others were injured after gelatin sticks exploded in Chakanenahalli of Holenarasipura taluk in Hassan district on Sunday.
Firefighters and police rushed to the spot. The injured are undergoing treatment at the district hospital.
ASP Nandini who visited the spot said that the explosives store had a license.
Responding to the incident, Congress leader Bagur Manjegowda said, “The issue was brought to the notice of the district authorities last month. But they did not care."
