Four-year-old son of ex-BSF soldier takes part in Celebrity International marathon

The four-year-old son of an ex-BSF soldier has taken part in Celebrity International marathon. The four-year-old has already taken part in four National marathons. His father, former BSF soldier Asif Ali wants to make his son an international player in running sports.

Gulbarga (Karnataka): Former BSF soldier Asif Ali Mithali's four-year-old son Mohammad Zaid has participated in Celebrity International marathon.

Former BSF soldier Asif Ali Mithali of Kanganahalli village in Gulbarga district wants to make his four-year-old son Muhammad Zaid an international athlete and is already coaching him in running.

Asif Ali while talking to ETV Bharat said that he was in the BSF for 20 years as a sportsperson, but had to take voluntary retirement due to poor health and fitness. Now he wants to make his son an international player in running sports.

Zaid has already run four National marathons. The boy, at the age of three-and-a-half, has run in a 6-km run in Shekarappa, Shimoga district, Karnataka. He also participated in Khadavali Marathon in the state of Maharashtra. The youngster is already taking part in running sports. So in order to make him an international running champion, his father has started to coach him in running.
