Bengaluru: A former corporator was brutally murdered near Anjanappa Gardens in Bengaluru. Rekha Kadiresh of Chalavadi Palya was distributing food kits to the poor when she was attacked.
According to reports, two assailants attacked her with deadly weapons. She suffered serious injuries in her neck and head. The locals immediately informed the police about the incident. The police rushed her to Victoria Hospital where she died from excessive bleeding.
Police suspect that the upcoming corporation election and a family feud are the reasons behind the murder. A case has been registered and the police are investigating. Rekha's husband Kadiresh was also murdered some time back.
