ETV Bharat impact: Report on the long due grant of land for MSME helped in signing MoU

On August 5th of 2020, ETV Bharat had reported that "ADD Engineering" MSME had waited for land for more than 2 years. Finally, the Government of Karnataka has responded to the report and signed an MoU with ADD and promised the company land in Devanahalli.

Bengaluru (Karnataka): On August 5th of 2020, ETV Bharat had reported that "ADD Engineering" MSME has waited for land for more than 2 years. Government of Karnataka responding to the report has signed an MoU with the firm on Feb 5th in Aero India promising that ADD engineering will get land in Devanahalli.

"We have signed a memorandum of understanding in Bandhan program, I would like to thank ETV Bharat for the report because of which pressure was created on Government and reality of delay of granting of land by KSSIDC was exposed," said Girish Linganna, MD of ADD Engineering.

As ETV Bharat report gave a double impact in granting of land for ADD Engineering company in Tumkuru industrial area and Devanahalli industrial area, it had been reported that "ADD engineering, subsidiary of a Germany based company, is waiting for the land of 3000 sq ft in Bengaluru Industrial areas for 2 years, but still has not been allotted land."

The firm had submitted all documents in 2018, saying under Make in India project, MSME will be manufacturing parts for HAL produced fighter jets. The government responded in late 2020 and granted land at Tumkuru Industrial area. Following the development, on Feb 5th in Aero India, Government of Karnataka has signed an MoU in Bandhan program held in 13th edition of Air show.
