Sirsi: Dr VS Sondhe, a senior officer from Uttara Kannada with an exemplary professional record in multidisciplinary fields including cooperation, social, agriculture, banking and education, passed away on Sunday morning. He died in a private hospital in Hubli.
Sondhe has four daughters. He served as the President of a renowned educational institution MES and Urban Bank in Uttara Kannada district. He produced many literary works and was a veteran of the cooperative arena. In addition, former Chief Minister Ramakrishna Hegde was his close associate.
