Police register case over video berating Infosys chair

A derogatory video criticizing Chairperson of Infosys Foundation Sudha Murty has gotten the director of the Old Town Criminal Web Series — Amar, and its producer into trouble. A case has been registered in Bengaluru.

Bengaluru: A police case was registered at the Nandini Layout Police Station after 'Namma Karnataka Rakshana Vedike' founder President Jayaraj Naidu lodged a complaint against a netizen who posted a derogatory video berating the Chairperson of Infosys Foundation Sudha Murty.

The complaint was lodged against the director of the Old Town Criminal Web Series — Amar, and the producer. In the web series, they taunted Sudha Murty in an abusive manner.

Police have launched an investigation.
