Tumkur: Strained by his financial burdens, a farmer from Karnataka's Tumkur district has offered to sell his body organs to repay his debt.
The farmer had earlier attempted to kill himself after suffering huge losses.
The farmer, Chandra Shekhar from Magodu village said that it is his personal decision to sell his organs.
Although he owns three acres of land along with three borewells, Chandra Shekhar still is not in a position to repay his debt.
His farms are now parched owing to acute water deficit.
Chandra Shekhar also alleged that private financers tortured him for repaying their loans.
