Couple poison daughter and kill themselves in Karnataka, Corona anxiety suspected

A minor girl was poisoned by her parents in Dharwad of Karnataka, following which the parents committed suicide, leaving behind a suicide note. Meanwhile, the relatives of the family claimed that it was the anxiety due to Coronavirus, which led to the deaths. Further investigation underway.

Dharwad (Karnataka): A couple allegedly poisoned their daughter and later committed suicide with fear of being COVID-19 positive, on Saturday morning here.

Reportedly, the deceased man, Mounesh, left behind a suicide note before ending his life.

It was revealed after check-up that Mounesh's wife was suffering from low blood pressure and his daughter was having a fever. As the daughter's temperature did not go down soon, the family reportedly panicked following which they took the drastic step.

Police have started an investigation into the matter and have recovered the purported suicide note by Mounesh.
