Bengaluru: Ramesh Jarkiholi has now literally become alone after the CD case. Except few, many of the BJP leaders seem to have deserted him and are hesitant to give a response to the case.
BJP leaders are maintaining distance from Ramesh Jarakiholi after the video with the young woman was revealed. The BJP leaders only in session mentioned such kind of incidents from Congress but did not justify Ramesh in any other way.
BJP leaders not defending Jarakiholi:
Few BJP leaders including Minister Dr. K Sudhakar, have been making statements that the CD is fake, but other BJP leaders are not speaking out loud on this case. MLA Renukacharya is commenting on this sometimes, while others are silent.
Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa, BJP state president Nalin Kumar Katil the DCMs and none of the ministers have defended Jarakiholi. Only Home Minister Basavaraja Bommai is saying that the case is under investigation and no statement can be made during the investigation.

It is said that, At a recent party's core committee meeting, the decision is made to maintain a gap from CD case. The BJP high command has sent a message to the state unit that it should not try to justify any incidents that are embarrassing to the party.
High command did not support:
The High Command leaders are trying to maintain distance from Jarakiholi. As the CD was revealed, Ramesh Jarakiholi was about to board a Delhi flight. But national leaders refused permission to visit. So Jarakiholi cancelled the Delhi plan and resigned as minister.
BJP state superintendent Arun Singh, who had visited the state after the resignation of Jarakiholi, had argued against Congress, saying that it was only in the BJP's system that the resignation was made before the accused was asked to resign. But he did not stand up for Jarkiholi.
Lonely Struggle :
Ramesh Jarakiholi is set to fight the legal battle alone, as he did not get support from BJP and cabinet colleagues. The young woman should have filed a complaint that day itself. Why she is complaining now? I know who is behind it and they are going to put the rape case now. I know the law, and I will fight through the law, he said.
