Bengaluru: After the Karnataka government decided to invoke the stringent Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA) along with the Goonda Act in the Bengaluru violence case, 61 alleged offenders have been booked.
The city commissioner Kamal Pant on Wednesday visited the site where the clash broke and inspected the situation.
Further investigation is underway and a look-out for absconding culprits has been issued.

Around 400 have been arrested in connection with the riots.
On 11 August, violence erupted in Bengaluru in which three people were killed in police firing after violent clashes broke out in a locality over a social media post.
